This week we will be moving to chapter 2 of the book of Ephesians. I found it difficult to settle on only 3 verses because of the context the best I could do was 5 verses. So this week we will be looking at Eph 2:1-5. I encourage you to re-read the entire chapter I would even go as far as to suggest starting at Eph 1:1 and read through the end of chapter 2 several times before settling in and focusing on our text, Eph 2:1-5.

Eph 2:1-5 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;).

What does it mean to you personally when Paul says in verse 1 “and you… who where dead in trespasses and sins” .When was it that you where dead?.When did you stop being dead?.
Remember the enemy is counting on you giving up! But think about the Exceeding Greatness of the Power of God that works in us! DO NOT GIVE UP!
